    Supply Chain Audit and Benchmarking

     

    Through the use of a detailed mapping and modelling process S2f Supply Chain are able to assess the "true" costs of a company's supply chain. Combining a mixture of one to one interviews and data interrogation S2f Supply Chain has been able to highlight areas where costs could be reduced across all areas of the supply chain. Working with the various functions and teams within an organisation S2f has developed and implemented plans to reduce these.

     


     

    ERP implementation

    S2f Supply Chain has extensive experience of ERP implementation projects. Combined with Business Process Redesign activities the implementations have realised significant benefits to the businesses both financially and operationally. The ERP experience covers use of SAGE, MS Navision, SAP, and Renaissance CS. S2f Supply Chain also has extensive experience of working with other complementary IT packages for demand suppy planning, warehouse management and transport planning.

    3PL (3rd Party Logistics) selection

    S2F Supply Chain has extensive experience of working with companies in selecting logistics providers. This has ranged from selection of single providers through a structured tender process to working with multiple providers to ensure an integrated solution across mulitple sites. The key is to identify the specific needs of the business and align these with the strengths of the providers. S2f Supply Chain can assist with the RFP (Request for Proposal) process, selection and tender process, as well as defining the SLA (Service Level Agreements) and Contracts.  

     


     

    Distribution Modelling

    Understanding the profile of customer orders, delivery expectations and geographic profiles enables a better understanding of the freight matrix. Through various means, S2f Supply Chain has been able to implement changes to drive down cost and improve service provision. These haven't simply been through rate re-negotiations.  Increased back haulage utilisation, customer partnership programmes, delivery customisations, and improved use of pallet networks have all led to increased efficiencies across the distribution network.

     


     

    Inventory Management

    Understanding a company's entire supply chain often opens the key to reducing inventory and the costs of holding inventory that are often not truly visible to an organisation.
