Caravan & Camping Site

YCP York Caravan Park is a beautiful, family run touring caravan & camping site located within the York ring road, yet surrounded by countryside, making it the ideal choice for holiday makers who enjoy peace and quiet, without being miles from the attractions of York. Click here for map.

All the pitches on our caravan site are super pitches - they have water, 16A electricity, drains, and television points and are significantly larger than an average pitch. We have a number of hardstanding pitches available, as is Wi-Fi internet access. York Caravan Park opened in March 2007, so all the facilities are modern and of the highest quality. The site has a small wooded area which is perfect for barbeques and picnics, and a fishing lake. Surrounding the park are open fields with our own organic rare breeds of cattle grazing. The Hopgrove Pub is within walking distance (follow the Millennium Way footpath) and serves good food and drink all day. Nearby is Monks Cross Shopping Park and Waterworld - a water park with slides, a toddler pool, wave pool, bubble pool and fitness pool.  Find out about the countless other amenities nearby in the About the region section.

Situated only 2 miles from York Minster itself, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the attractions in the area surrounding this luxury touring caravan and camping site.

• The Yorkshire Coastliner bus service runs services to and from York every 30 minutes and stops directly outside. It also runs to Leeds, Tadcaster, Malton, Scarborough and Whitby (amongst many others) and it will take you to many of Yorkshires attractions - including Castle Howard, Eden Camp, Flamingo Land, Goathland (home of 'Heartbeat') and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, or just for a magnificent ride across the North York Moors.
  
• By car - drive into York in less than 5 minutes, or drive to the coast in under an hour.
  
• By train - York railway station is also only about 2.5 miles from YCP where you can get regular trains to the coast and elsewhere.
  
• Park & Ride bus service is situated at Monks Cross Shopping Park (less than 1 mile away). It has regular services to and from the city centre.
  
• By foot - It is possible to walk in to York from our site. It takes around 45 minutes, depending on how fast (or slow) you walk!
